The pre-Cup riot-scare was just that... lefty hype.  Brazil were great hosts.  A total TV-audience of around 4-billion, worldwide.

The US had lost to Germany 1-0,  so we're not doing too bad.

I don't think Brazil would have gone to finals if the judges hadn't been bought off against Colombia, the most corrupt match I have seen. But I don't think Colombia would have beaten Germany so end result probably have been the same without the commie bribery.
