I don't know who the golfer is, but that's 90% of us who play, balls seem to have a magnetism for water.

My dad tried to teach me.... 6 balls and 4 holes ... I became the designated golf cart driver.

Lucky you, "A Cart". I had 2 clubs, a wood and driver, never could afford the whole set, let alone a cart, and after the last lake that ate my wood (wasn't about to throw away my driver), I still walked the rest of the course because I couldn't afford a cart.

"Golf is relaxing" they said, "it gets you outdoors" they said, "you'll meet nice people" so they said.

I hit a car Teeing off, squirrel stole my ball, got in an argument with some other asshole about playing through, he was having a fucked up day too, they too, told him him.
"Golf is relaxing" as he was throwing his clubs in the lake.

So all in all, had I rented a cart? I could have sat cooler with shade over my head, a beer in hand, out ran the car I hit with a ball, ran over the fuckin rodent who stole my ball, and invited the other asshole "enjoying a quiet day of golf" for a beer by the lake holding the rest of his clubs for deposit.

I found the cart to be the best part of golf, you can kick back by the lake, and watch all the the idiots "Out for a relaxing day of golf".
