As David Duval can attest to.
THAT is one of the stories I am the most fascinated with.  He was actually number 1 before Tiger, if I recall.  He just completely fell apart.  It amazes me how much of the game is mental.

Late-development of muscle-mass is fraught with peril.

Rory McElroy developed his body as he developed his golf-skills.
Yeah, but he's not body building.  I mean someone huge.  All the golfers lift weights now, and you do want to stay strong to withstand the season, but juicing up for bulk wouldn't be good.

There's some value in the idea of a rotund-body's athletic twisting-motion.
I'm amazed more older guys don't have back problems.  That's a lot of twists over 20, 30, 40, 50 years.

In golf, it holds-its-own against the slender types.  It's the point that Ben Wright was trying to make about women-golfers when CBS booted him off-the-air.  Breast-size isn't a hindrance to a woman's swing.

Tiger hasn't been the same since he won the Open on a broken leg. You can play through pain, but in the back of your mind the pain is always there. And golf is a mental game.
