The Masters
« on: April 07, 2017, 05:04:04 AM »
I am a golf enthusiast and have played for over 60 years. I have been fortunate to have been to The Masters several times. For anyone who has never been there, the beauty of the place cannot be described. As good as it looks on TV it is multiple times better in person. The patron experience is unbelievable. All parking is free. The pimento cheese sandwiches are still $1.50. The last time I was there a 16 oz. beer was 2.00. The restrooms are not porta-potties, but free standing buildings with attendants. The sandwiches are wrapped in green paper so any dropped on the ground do not show on TV. However, they are attendants walking around picking up any trash. I could go on and on, but that is just a brief summary.

The leftists hate The Masters and Augusta National Golf Club. The club tells them to pound sand when they try to start any BS. When Augusta National invited Condoleeza Rice to be a member it blew all their arguments to bits and pieces.

The fact that it screams of 1950s America, where people came together peaceably to partake in a sport while admiring Americana is what leftists hate, especially when it's televised to the entire world.
Unlike leftist gatherings of riots and protests, burning vehicles while every perverted leftist prog LGBTPRU claims victimhood.
(That's Lesbian, Gay, Butt packer, Trans, Pedo, Rapist, Undecide perversion, or all previously listed, and some yet to be revealed.)

Point is, whole intact families out to enjoy the fruits of their labor, why that's pure heresy, blasphemy to the Marxist Prog..

The Masters has high expectations of its patrons. Each patron grounds pass/ticket is tied to its purchaser. If anyone steps out of line they are  removed from the grounds and they will be banned from purchasing tickets in the future. Another "suggestion" - no running. Patrons are expected to walk wherever they go.

OMG, what a novel concept, demand that people act civilized, kind of like most of America, minus lib cities.
Who'd ever thunk it?

I've never been but everything I know about it is just heaven.  It's my favorite course to see on a nice huge high def TV.

And as I said, TV does not do it justice.
