Talib had a meltdown at the end.  It would have been nice to see Manning get the record in Indy.

I watched that.  Very sad!  I wonder how the team reacts to Talib today?  What he did was very stupid.

But it was 'accidental.'

I imagine Manning and Kubes had some choice words for him.

Lies won't work on this one.  His intent was obvious!

What happened. I did not see the game. What did Talib do?

There was a bit of a tussle between two opposing players and Talib walked up and angrily poked two of his fingers through the face mask of one.  He went straight for the eye.  The player was obviously hurt because he grabbed his own face mask!  It was an intentional attempt to gouge the players eye.

The penalty was 15 yards and a first down... eliminating any chance of the Broncos getting  the ball again.  The game was almost over when the incident took place.

Shameful. The team should suspend him for at least one game without pay. However, in the NFL it is all about wins. Example one: Jerry Jones keeping Hardy on the team. He is a cancer.

I agree, sup!

The NFL has a rule that I do not agree with.  At least I think it is the rule.

When they go into overtime the first team to score a touchdown wins.  The opposing team may not even get a chance to score.  I think they should at least be given an opportunity to score on both sides.

Am I wrong about this?  Does anyone else think it is a bad rule?

That happened to the Cowboys last night!

They should suspend him the rest of the year and no pay for the games.   There 3 X 7 not kids.

I believe the rule is if a team scores a touchdown the game is over. However, if the first team scores a field goal the opposing team has an opportunity.

That is true but my question remains the same.

If they get a chance after a field goal, why not a touchdown.  That is inconsistent.

It is the NFL. Consistency is not in their dictionary.

Agreed. Each team should have the chance to handle the ball for at least one series, regardless of what the team does that handles the ball first does. If neither team scores any points after that, then sudden death can enter the equation.
