On the first day of Black History Month



The Sacramento Kings removed free T-shirts with monkeys on them that were draped over seats before Monday's game due to complaints about racial insensitivity on the first day of Black History Month.

The black shirts, featuring a large purple monkey in the center, were giveaways to celebrate the Lunar New Year and the Chinese Year of the Monkey, the Sacramento Bee reports. The California basketball team had them pulled after Kings star DeMarcus Cousins and others objected, former NBA player Marques Johnson said.

"DeMarcus voices his displeasure and to the Kings credit they pull the Monkey T Shirts," Johnson, who is now a Milwaukee TV analyst, wrote on Twitter. "Good move Kings. Year of Monkey Tees on 1st day of Black History Month not a good look. Thanks DeMarcus," he wrote in another tweet.

The whole thing is dumb.  The race hustlers and the Kings for celebrating the Chinese New Year. 

What's worse, is the half time at the Super Bowl, promoting Beyoncé and her BLM song that was about black power and anti-police.

I swear, society just gets worse by the day.

Why even think about saluting the Chinese new year? It takes a pure racist to try and connect the dots between a purple monkey on the Chinese new year and racism. I suggest these race baiters to complain to the Chinese for their insensitivity. Get over it. As for Beyonce, she is not worth my time.

Hmm..  Are they pissed the monkey is not black?   Beyoncé will go down in history as Beyoncé WHO? 

I briefly watched Beyonce and was underwhelmed with the performance. 

As for the Kings monkey, some people need t grow a thicker skin.

If they are insulted by the image maybe it's because it's how they see themselves. Did the blacks get upset when the left portrayed GW Bush as a chimp? Did the whites? I sure as hell didn't.
