Never happen. However I do pick who I think will win a game, based on odds, injury reports but only to see how I'd fare IF I did bet. Pre-season games are usually a waste of time anyway, but for the Broncos the game against LA is semi-important. If nothing else, it will give the HC an idea of who will start the season at QB against the Panthers in week 1.
