I do not have a dog in this hunt, but it is big news in the world of college football. History tells us until all these cases became more public there was some "winks" about domestic abuse. We will have to wait and see how it turns out. I will only add that Meyer has a history of letting players get away with some nefarious behavior.

My friend, who is really into college football, was telling me about this and how it will rock the Big 10.

He also pointed out that the left is using this to attack jim jordan and hurt his chances of taking over for ryan, because jim jordan used to be a wrestling coach at ohio and JJ says he didn't know about anything nefarious going on,  but the left is saying he did know about it.

OSU has to be in full damage control. I personally believe the two situations are totally different. The Jim Jordan deal is purely political. The Meyer issue is the here and now and opens a real can of worms.

Personally I do believe hitting schools with the death penalty for a couple of years would go a long way in solving this and future problems. Sports just are not that damn important to put up with this kind of behavior. Damn sure do not care about their
political view. I watched very few games for several years,I'm just not inside much, then quit altogether when athletes started taking a knee. Wouldn't mind seeing some pro teams getting the death penality too.

That's going a tad bit over the top because of a damn few.  Athletes need to know who's paying the bill.  It's the little people that came to entertained not preach to.  I find that if people don't like the preaching they move on.
