How do you read point spreads?
The danger to America is not Barack Obama but the citizens capable of entrusting a man like him with the Presidency.

New England is beginning the game already 3.5 points ahead.  -Carolina is already winning by a field-goal at the opening kick-off.

In order to win your share of the game's betting-pool, Denver must beat New England by 4 points.  -Arizona must win by 3-points... because the .5 half-point isn't recognized in that game, by the bookmakers.  The .5 half-point is just a simple failsafe to avoid potential irregularities, like a suspicious field-goal.

If one chooses to bet on New England or Carolina you would subtract those numbers from the their final score to determine who wins the bet. If Carolina wins by three it becomes a "push" and the bettor pays 10% of the bet as what they call the "juice" for the bookmaker. The bookmaker will move the lines to try to have equal amounts bet on each tam. That way they make their money on the 10% "juice" on each bet.

If AZ and Denver play like they did this weekend, both the Pats and Panthers will have a cake walk in the championship games.

GO BRONCOS

A little too close for comfort....

BTW, are the refs allowed to call grounding on Brady?  I counted 4.  I guess he gets an exemption.
