SAN FRANCISCO (AP) — A lawsuit accusing the NFL and team owners of conspiring to suppress wages for cheerleaders lacks evidence to support that claim, a federal judge said.

U.S. District Judge William Alsup dismissed the lawsuit by a former San Francisco 49ers cheerleader. The suit sought class action status on behalf of all NFL cheerleaders.

I think the cheerleaders should get 50,000 per season. They work very hard.

I dated a Niner's cheerleader back in the 80s, I asked her what her plans were for the future. She said being a 49er opened all kinds of doors, that just being out in front of millions of adoring fans allows you access to every corporation looking for representation around the world.
She said the job didn't pay shit, but that's not why she took it, she said she just got back from Tokyo where she met the CEO's of all the major automakers, made thousands in personal appearances.
Said the next week they were all headed to Europe for another gala and figured she'd make another 10 K to sock away for college.

I'm guessing this particular cheer girl failed to sack away some coin, or really wasn't as hot as the rest and didn't get invited to all the functions.
Grow up and move along, you weren't hired for your talent.
