Title: Colin Kaepernick to stand during national anthem next season
Post by: Solar on March 07, 2017, 07:21:41 AM
A little late, aren't you faggot?

Quarterback Colin Kaepernick will stand during the national anthem next season, sources told ESPN on Thursday.

Kaepernick no longer wants his method of protest to detract from the positive change he believes has been created, sources told ESPN. He also said the amount of national discussion on social inequality -- as well as support from other athletes nationwide, including NFL and NBA players -- affirmed the message he was trying to deliver.

As a means of protest, he began sitting during the national anthem in the 2016 preseason before taking a knee for the final preseason contest and 16 regular-season games.

Kaepernick will opt out of his contract with the San Francisco 49ers on Friday and become a free agent next week, sources told ESPN.

He's also dreaming if he thinks he has a shot as a free agent.  Who wants a distraction and fan repellant?

I doubt it. The 49'ers probably gave him a choice.

The Browns are looking for a QB, maybe they'll take a chance.

Honestly, I don't think he can afford to pay them to take him.
The guy is toxic, it was his antics that cost the NFL a huge chunk of their viewership.

They took a flyer on Johnny Manzel. If anything he deserves to live in Cleveland.

This is kind of funny.

Now USA Today is reporting that Kaepernick will not continue his disgusting national anthem protest next season. Yes, Colin will stand for the anthem in 2017.

Why the change of heart? Because he is out of work and probably well on his way from being dead ass broke. The 49ers cut him loose and as of today, no other NFL team wants to hire him.

So, the coward Kaepernick announces he will end his protest. And he thinks he will just be forgiven?

Let's take a second to remember what Kaepernick told NFL.com as to why he was protesting the anthem.

"I am not going to stand up to show pride in a flag for a country that oppresses black people and people of color," he said. "To me, this is bigger than football, and it would be selfish on my part to look the other way. There are bodies in the street and people getting paid leave and getting away with murder."

First Colin, you were raised by a white well off family and the only racism you see is on TV. That's movies, not real life Colin you fool.

Second, you don't sh*t on our flag for a year and just announce you are done and want to get on with your life. The flag is sacred, as is the anthem as is your right to protest.

No one wants you because any team that hires you will see an immediate reaction from its fan base, Season tickets will be canceled, people will stay home on Sunday's.

Want proof, Colin, that you done? The NFL ratings took a massive nose dive after you started your protest and have yet to recover.

You think any team wants you to bring that on them? No, Colin, you are done. Go find a real job. Just remember when you are out in the real world – don't call the cops if you get in trouble, they hate you even worse than NFL fans.

If you're too anti-American for San Francisco then you might have some problems...
