Transgender rights are en vogue right now.  The cultural Marxists are lecturing the rest of us on how ignorant and uneducated we are because we don't understand transgenderism.  however I've looked and there is scant evidence that being transgender has any biological origin.  Rather the entire movement is politically motivated and those who are transgender seem to be suffering from psychological issues.

The so-called "Gay Movement" has always been backed by the communist left.
Seriously, do a search for first openly gay San Franfreako communist movement and see who comes up.

I have no problem with peopel being gay and doing whatever they want in their private lives.  That's none of my damn business.  the transgender thing is different though.  It asks us to deny reality.  To look at a man who thinks he's a woman and acknowledge him as a woman.  Aint happenin!  And if you think you can start teaching my kids this garbage in school you have another thing coming!

It's pure psychobabble.  When reality and perception conflict, reality needs to change.

I don't know anyone that cares what someone does in their private life, it's when it's used as a political movement designed to destroy the fabric of a long established culture is when people speak out.
The trans issue is no different than any other sexual perversion when it forces it's way to the front of the mainstream and demands special rights.

Like I said, this is all Communist driven, just like when Harry Hays and his band of freaks started their crap.
There's a reason Harry started his movement in the Bay Area, he knew Libertarians were perfect gullible targets, in that they would never criticize anyones perversions.

I went from being a conservative, to a libertarian back to a conservative or maybe more appropriately a hybrid conservative-libertarian; a conservatarian if you will.

I've come the conclusion that liberals generally have far too little faith in people,  libertarians generally have far too much faith in people and conservatives generally tend to perceive reality the best.

Same here pretty much, though I never waivered in my Conservative ideals, it was those around me pulling in every direction that only helped cement my beliefs that my values were correct.
