Title: Some banks are now using voice identification for security
Post by: walkstall on May 01, 2014, 10:41:27 AM
Hmm...The person I call at my bank knows my voice.

Israeli tech company NICE Systems has launched a voice authentication system for call centers that is already in use at a few banks, said Tamar Sharir, director of fraud and authentication services at the company.

The software is able to identify a person calling the bank within 15 seconds, just by their voice, with more than 90 percent accuracy, Sharir said.
