Matters not, I print a page per year, and the last time I printed one was a decade ago. The wife usually does it at work. I'm not even certain ours even works.

You have to turn it on to see if it will work.

Last time I tried to print a page, the thing screwed up the entire page, and that was the third time I used it in as many years, that was a decade ago now that I think about it.

  I have a printer that's over 20 years old that I use for back up.  I used it on my wife's machine about a month ago.   My new printer is wireless so I will put it away again.  I can not print from both computer to the new printer.

My printer said it had a print head problem and it would not let me do anything.  So I check in town at the place I got it to see if there was some thing I could do.

Turns out the printer was recalled for the very problem.  So I get a new printer.  Every thing set up ok but for printing from my computer.  Took me 5 hrs. to fix the problem.   :cursing:   So I turned off the Firewall again as I had it off for the download only and it printed.  I turned the Firewall back on again and it printed ok.  Not sure what turning it off and back on again did, but it's working.

So much for the days of plug and play.

LOL !

I keenly remember the 1980's when it took me an entire Christmas Vacation to install a CD-ROM on my 486 !

But I succeeded.

I would use a Louisville Slugger on the printer.  Try to use a wooden one.  It will completely solve all the printer issues your having with it.

I did that years ago with a Pocket PC.  I was on the golf course and was trying to play golf while something important was going on at the office.  I was so mad that I couldn't take a damn day off without the place seemingly fall apart, and I was playing horrible.  My Pocket PC kept sticking and I couldn't make a call, so I just lost it and propped it up between 2 tees and just onloaded on it with a 3-wood.

Saw something similar, where some guy was cursing into his phone, pull it from his ear, grip it with both hands, fight with it, yell into it, and finally let out a loud scream of frustration and threw it across the lake.
Damned thing nearly cleared the other side of the lake skipping on the water, and yes, he calmed down quickly.

I don't know what the issue was, may have been a cheating wife for all I know, but getting rid of the phone seemed to solve it.

It should be routine therapy...  feels great.  Just remember to have your contacts backed up.
