Damn am I subsidizing that also.

I buy propane for my BBQ as we BBQ the year around.  That stuff is not cheap, I remember paying 5$ a tank now it's 40$ a tank.  When I take out my 5th wheel it's 80$ for the two tanks.  It's running 2.50 per gal, if I get it in Oregon.  As there no tax there for propane and it's only 5 miles out of my way.

Last time was $1.94/gal. for 200 gallons delivered. I look for it to start creeping up with the onset of some serious cold weather. Last winter it nearly doubled before the weather broke in the spring.

I am paying 2.50$ at the pump.  There was some place that said it could hit 5+ on the East before Winter is over with.   I remember back 6 years ago, I was paying 6.50$ for heating oil.

I generally wait till I need 400 gallons or so, but there's no price break after 200.
Our propane has actually been pretty reasonable out here for the last ten years, that is, if you get it delivered..
At the pump for 25 gal, they nail you at $5.oo+ a gal.
