Companies like Google and Facebook have done a scarily good job of integrating their services into everyday life. Though my google account, I can essentially do anything I want on the internet. It holds other accounts login information, can serve as a movie and tv streaming service, music, mail, and almost everything else. While I would love to get rid of my google account and consolidate, it would require a massive overhaul. The article does pose some good points, however. Might start sooner than later. Already rid myself of most social media. Why not Google as well.
