Did they include placing temperature sensors next to busy streets, or in direct sunlight?
Really, we have multiple weather stations at the home (family member writes weather station software), and all kinds of stuff makes them give false readings.
Put one near water, a pond, fountain, bird bath, and it screws up humidity, dewpoint, wind chill & temperature.
Spiders and other tiny insects screw up rainfall sensors.

Someone made some easy money doing that study.

Someone put a weather station near I-40 in Winston-Salem, I think it was where the overpass of Hwy 66, NW corner.
All the vehicle exhaust & heat rises up the bank, right to the weather station or air sampling station.

Creating a problem, to fit the solution.

We spent billions on the war on poverty and we still have the poor. We are spending billions on fighting a problem already rigged by location and surroundings to deliver the desired government grants to the right grants-applicants. Wow. Democrats at work.
