Has there been anymore follow-up to this interview?  Has anyone else come forward?  Search will suffer by trying to make it "fair".  A.I. algorithms can be programmed to do anything you want, but if you create or modify an algorithm that ignores facts in favor of sensitivity, or what you judge as "fair", you're making an inferior search algorithm. 

Eventually another search engine will start to eat your lunch.

I kind of like they don't care.  When search starts to produce "rainbow and unicorn" results to serious search requests people will start to lose interest in using it.

They're already making themselves irrelevant as the majority of people are using alternative search engines to goog.

Wasn't O'Keefe found guilty of fraud? This sort of whining strikes me as childish. When you hire into a corporation at a high level you sign non-disclosure and security agreements. I should know as I was trustee for our data and was tested yearly on procedure and different levels of security of corporate info. That said I went on Google and found every site I looked for in the list in video. Of course good citizenship shouldn't want poorly researched or blatantly biased sites as their first choice, but should they suit you, this is America and you can find one easily and read till your heart's content. Today solid, well researched information isn't that hard to find even with so much BS flooding the mediasphere. Corporate security measures duplicate our governments levels of security. But if wrong is done there will be whistle blowers should companies hide important information such as harmful products and procedures. Same in government, in a free, educated society the info is out there.  The truth shall set you free. At least we hope so.
