I'm a volume downloader. I download nearly everything.
Recently I purchased a Nextbook with Windows 10 already installed on it.
So what do the geniuses at Microsoft do? The computer no longer tells you when updates are occuring, so you boot the computer and it runs slower than a senate confirmation. And, as some of these updates are as long as a list of reasons Hillary Clinton shouldn't be president, the computer persists sometimes for up to an hour and a half.
Downloads? Don't even think about it. The update commandeers the port like a drunken cop.
Having shut the computer off, not realizing it was downloading updates, I now find the port locked tighter than a rusted nut on a '55 Ford.
Not Microsoft's smartest move....
