So true.  Good article on the crappy performance of news sites.  Nobody knows better than us how bad it is out there with news sites.  Daily Caller?  Yuk.  I just quit going to The Blaze it was so bad.  There are plenty more who need to get their crap together.

I so agree with this.  I don't know how many times I've tried to load these sites only for my computer to stall or take forever.  You have to knock off so many ads to get to the article, that it feels like going through a jungle with a machete.
The danger to America is not Barack Obama but the citizens capable of entrusting a man like him with the Presidency.

This is soooo true, and it's why I don't visit Blaze, FOX, youngcons and a extensive list of other bait and click sites.
They are too top loaded in stetting up ads and other crap before the site finishes loading, sometimes so bad, that the article never even loads due to cramming.

I'm with you guys on the Blaze.   They just irked me right off their site....can't control the pop-up ads... so infuriating!

I use Ad Aware free anti virus with popup blocker, haven't seen a popup in years.
For a free prog, this is one of the best and I never get viruses either.

Oh man, that's too bad. Do a search, I know there are a ton of popup blockers by the big boys for free.
Maybe check your browser for addons if you're using Mozilla or Chrome.

I may get one popup or ad a year, with my security system.  I pay 85$ for three years for three computers that are on line.

I have issues with some, but they go-away.

With Mozilla, I simply don't update adobe flash until I feel like it.  Sites load right-up without videos or animated ads.

Other times, I'll back-door onto the original non-newspaper story's page.  -Copying and pasting the address.

What do you use?  I find the ad thing very frustrating.
