EV Parking Problem
« on: October 22, 2017, 05:45:40 AM »
Don't you hate people who can't park their car correctly?   Yeah, or these rich bastards who take up 2 or 3 spaces, like their car is so special they can't bear to have your beater anywhere next to their "showroom" automobile?

My car is a TESLA - don't get near my government subsidized car!   ... and then parks 90 degrees in the stall, taking up 3 of them?!?!

Back in my hippie days, the days of I-don't-give-a-sh!t and the-only-thing-better-than-a-freebe-is-two, this guy in a fancy foreign car starts screaming at me for parking my 1969 VW squareback next to his expensive gem.  He took up 2 stalls, I was in my stall, 1/2 a stall away from him... that was "too close" in his view.   As I was starting to walk away, he got louder, insisting I move my car.  (it wasn't a rust bucket, just a VW, actually pretty clean car).

With one of those wordless replies, he decided to move his car instead.
I looked at him, looked down at my crotch, and made a motion 'one would make if they had to pee badly.'
Maybe he figured I'd pee on his car if I didn't find a bathroom...?   You never know what to expect from a kid with an afro like Colin Kaepernick in a sweatshirt, jeans & hiking boots.

Oh - there's more!

After taking millions and millions from the USA in government subsidies, TESLA has decided to build in China.

Electric-car maker Tesla Inc. TSLA -1.91% has reached an agreement to set up its own manufacturing facility in Shanghai, according to people briefed on the plan, a move that could help it gain traction in China’s fast-growing EV market.

The deal with Shanghai’s government will allow the Silicon Valley auto maker to build a wholly owned factory in the city’s free-trade zone, these people said. This arrangement, the first of its kind for a foreign auto maker, could enable Tesla to slash production costs, but it would still likely incur China’s 25% import tariff.

Tesla is currently working with the Shanghai government about details of the deal’s announcement, such as timing, one of these people said. The effort comes as President Donald Trump, who has been critical of China’s trade policies, prepares to visit Beijing early next month.

In June, Tesla revealed it was in talks with the Shanghai government about the possibility of opening a factory and reiterated that it aims to define its China production plans by year’s end. A month earlier, Chief Executive Elon Musk cryptically had told analysts that a change in China rules would be “good timing.”

That's planning ahead.  After you're bled the American Goose dry of every dollar you can get - move to China!
This is one time, I'm in favor of TARIFFS on Electric Vehicles - to get our money BACK from Elon Musk & company.

Can't say I didn't warn them.

They need a better excuse.
You're right, you don't suddenly pull people aside after 4 years of work and suddenly discover they haven't been performing up to standards, this was total bull shit and even libs can smell right through it.

After all the money Dims threw at this guy and his "Green Machine", watch him sellout to a foreign entity after American dollars built the company.

I'd like to say, "People are STUPID to give money & tax breaks to companies."
In reality, "Politicians are greedy bastards who will enrich themselves and their company buddies at the expense of people."

When they say, "It's about bringing JOBS into our area, JOB stimulus, good paying JOBS!!!"
What they really mean...
"It's about RETIREMENT, my RETIREMENT, my golden parachute, my house on the beach next to Bernie Sanders - you suckers need to keep working!"

What was that French Revolution about, anyways...?

I like parking in back of them.  Then make a phone call and have a farm field truck park in front.   If they need 2 or 3 parking spaces let the park at the end of the parking lot and walk like big trucks do.
