Title: Combating government control of the internet
Post by: MACMan on June 08, 2015, 06:04:45 PM
I'm no electronics guy.

Elsewhere, someone mentioned something called 'Web BBS 5.12' and felt it would be an effective counter to government control.

How does 'BBS' work and, more important, is there any validity to it being an effective counter?

Thanks!

It's called the "Dark Web" and yes, you simply call it private and don't let the govt touch it.
This would be a great chance for Linux to prove it's effectiveness.

I do not believe there are any laws governing private communications via networking, such as conference calls, computer networking within industry.
The same goes for individuals sharing ideas, the govt needs a warrant.
