Cell Phone Signal Strength In DB's
« on: August 30, 2017, 01:23:29 PM »
This has always bugged me because I live extremely rural in the mountains and our Cell signal not only sucks, most times are nonexistent.
But having several different phones over the years, I noticed one would say two bars, yet still can't make a call, while others have none and the call goes through.
So I did a search to see if it was possible to read DB, (decibel strength) on your phone and as luck would have it, someone did a video on how to not only test, but permanently set it to decibels instead of those worthless bars.

THis is really simple, but you'll have to hit pause for the Ph#, he goes pretty fast.
