Taking a hint from Predator, in which Jesse Ventura fed his hand-carried minigun from a backpack ammunition box, National Guard Staff Sgt. Vincent Winkowsk built himself a combination backpack, ammunition feed to supply his Mk48 with 500 rounds without loading new belts or having to carry belts loosely flapping around every pair of shoulders that were available.

The gadget worked so well that the Army's made an improved version and is looking to fund it for wider distribution.
