Using a cell phone while driving, whether it’s hand-held or hands-free, delays a driver's reactions as much as having a blood alcohol concentration at the legal limit of .08 percent. (Source: University of Utah)

My granddaughters boyfriend just buried his sister,,,one car wreck, she was texting.  Happened 2 miles from her home.....
People in general dont get that they dont drive a phone both and kids dont get that ya cant write an essay while driving.....

I was talking to a co-worker about her Blackberry and my Pre. She mentioned that her son had a Pre and didn't like that the touch screen made it impossible to text while driving.  Now that's not a bug, that's a feature!  8)

Hmmm, I should invent a small computer that watches the kids eyes, if they distract for more than one second three times in a one minute period, the brakes automatically apply and the car calls home and rats them out.

No, here in Ca, particularly the Bay area, that would be "Sex With A Car" where no one would speak ill of them, because it's their lifestyle choice. ;D
