This alone would do away with a lot of lib's.
If the earthquakes don't get you the volcano will so they have been saying for years.   I been through 6 earthquakes in my life time and one volcano eruption that I could see from my house.

An Earthquake That Could Devastate Pacific Northwest Is Coming, Report Says

Roughly 80 miles off the coast of Oregon, there's a place deep down inside the Earth that few people living along the West Coast know about. But they will someday, years or even decades from now.

That's because this is a place called the Cascadia subduction zone, where a pair of tectonic plates are now grinding up against one another under the Pacific Ocean, and they're headed -- slowly but inevitably -- toward a moment when the pressure now building there will become too great to bear.

I live on a shelf.  I just hope when we break off we float and become an island.

Supposedly, Arizona will be the "new" coastal state, as San Diego disappears.

According to the psychic Edward Cayce, New York will disappear first.  There will also be a widening of the Mississippi river, and several mid-west cities will disappear.  This all occurs with a shift in the polar axis.  It's already moved 700 miles since this prediction was made, back in the '30's.

I saw this reported on Fox News yesterday and found it very alarming.  I wonder how many folks living in the danger zone actually know anything about it?  Probably very few.  Ignorance is bliss.

My great nephew just moved up there on the Washington side of the Columbia River near Portland.  I sent this report to my niece so she could inform her son.  But young people feel invincible...... ya know, it'll never happen to me!

Part of me wants this to happen just to see what happens...I know that's bad.  Call it morbid curiosity.  But seriously, always good to prepare for the big one in any event.

You can't prepare for something catastrophic.  They say that Yellowstone is past due to explode, which will destroy the whole western U.S. and millions will die in the fall out.

There are hurricanes, floods and tornadoes.  The earth is a constantly moving and changing.  No guarantees anywhere.

That is true, Dori.  But there are definitely parts of the country that have a very safe track record where mother nature is concerned.

However, most people do not feel like they have a choice about where to live.  That is something I have never understood.  Maybe it is the extended family that keeps people in one spot all their lives.... or a fear of the unknown.  I grew up moving very often and "roots" were never part of my thinking.  Actually, moving is a new adventure in life which I always enjoyed.

I'm so acclimated to where I live, I don't want to live anywhere else.  I can't stand humidity or air conditioning, I don't like cold winters or hot summers.  I want my doors and windows open with breezes blowing through and no bugs.

Guess I'll just take my chances on earthquakes.  What few I've been through were somewhat devastating to their epicenters, but I've never experienced that, and don't think about it.

I agree Dori, for similar reasons, but what is even more devastating to our way of life than natural catastrophic disasters, is the Marxists destroying a wonderful way of life.

I look forward to a massive 10. on the Richter scale, as long as Fuglosi is in her district along with the rest of the commies.
