Would You Buy An IKEA Prefab House For $86,000

Without critiquing the house, I doubt it will work here, seeing how we have a glut of empty homes going for pennies on the dollar.

But with that said, this thing is butt ugly!
Then there is the issue with the kitchen at one end of the house and the bath at the other.
This will require a second water heater. Besides that little screw up, your friends will always have to walk through your bedroom to use the bathroom.
Now how stupid is that?
Kitchens and baths work better back to back.
Plans are at the bottom.

I can pick up a nice manufactured house for less than that in Nevada brand new.
Hell, since hussein screwed up the economy, I can pick up a bank repo for $8.000 and have it moved to my property for another 5K.
I read where there were nearly a million vacant in Nevada and the majority are prefab models.

Yeah, seems like Ikea picked a bad time to venture into the housing mkt.

Something along those lines.
This has been around about 30 years, I worked on a home where it was used.
Would I use it? Nope!
Not for a house, maybe a shop or garage.

No, you probably hook the walls together with the metal pins and screw claws they use on their particle board furniture. First wind storm and oops!

Price it at $5000 and I'll take one. The chickens need a new coop.
