Its that time of year again, so are you prepared?
Wiper blades, battery in car good or just OK, snow tires, salt or kitty litter in the trunk?
There are way too many to list, even antifreeze is one overlooked, so what can you think of.
It need not be just cars, the house is another.
Down spouts clogged over the summer, gas for a back up generator, candles, pet food for emergencies, gallons of water in the event pipes freeze or break.
Add some tips that most either never think of, or take for granted.

We had our first snow yesterday, and we were in town. Les Schwab must have had 200+ cars and trucks in one shop alone. I put on my snow tires 17 day ago and put 500 lb of tractor weights in the back of the truck. I love the Dodge truck but the back end need weight even with snow tires.
Also Winterize you back up gas and diesel for the winter. I use STA BIL fuel stabilizer year around in everything. If it takes gas or diesel STA BIL goes in it, I put it in all my containers before fill them. Also fire up your generator(s) make sure they will start for if and when you need them. If battery are going to be out side and not use for the winter, make sure they have a full charge and discounted until you need them.
Good point about the batteries, a fully charged battery won't freeze.
One other thing, check your tire pressure, cold weather causes a decrease in pressure.
I always carry cold weather starting fluid. Sometimes it's hard to start at extreme cold temperatures.
Graphite or a greaseless lubricant on your vehicle locks now before you get froze out, I hate when that happens.
