I've tried that, baked his favorite goodies, made his favorite meals yet it was me who yesterday redid the grout around the wood stove and it was me who this morning organized the office... We have a light switch that is an eyesore and needs to be replaced and I swear I'm going to have to get a how to book and do that myself too..  :( :D

LOL... Yes, it is starting to get cold, starting a fire at night and early morning...But about the light switch, gosh, you guys are all alike, he said it ain't broke it still works and he will get around to it when he has time.... LOL... Of course he is sitting on the couch eating chips when he tells me that..

I did some research on changing them out, I believe its a pretty easy fix and I'll be able to do it...But it would serve him right if I electrocuted myself!!

You're funny. :D
If you go to the hardware store and look at the switches, you will notice on the back, that most of them, they have four small holes, and if you look even closer, they are marked Black and White,
Just make sure the wires are the same gauge as the holes, probably 14 awg which is size 14 wire, they will help you if you clip a piece of wire off an inch long.
Anyway, just make sure the wires are straight, skin off about a 1/4" of black and white insulator plastic covering the wire, and slip it into the appropriate holes, that's it, then turn back on the breaker.
Good luck, it shouldn't take more than three minutes to do, turning off the breaker takes longer. ;)
