On my old computer with an earlier version of Windows, it was no problem to "Cut and Paste." But for the life of me I cannot figure out how to do it on Windows 8.10 and Windows 10. I will be downloading Windows 10 and I have a new laptop which uses Windows 10. There are a number of things I would have liked to paste here, but had to just skip it because I don't know how to do it here other than just copy the URL which, as you know, often comes out garbled. Thanks. Please don't give me insulting comments. I know I am not exactly computer illiterate.
The copy/paste function has not changed in win 8 or 10. However if you are using your touch screen, you'll just have to touch the area you want to start to copy then slowly swipe the rest. It does take practice though. I just use the touch pad or my mouse, it's much simpler.

What you need to do is use Copy and Paste. Highlight the area you would like to copy. Then do a right click on it and hit copy. Then click the area you would like to put it and right click again and hit past. Do not use
Cut as Cut is for removes thing.

Somehow you have to enable the "command prompt" at the start up menu

and WYSIWYG on a GREEN SCREEN.... That looked pale blue if you stared into it too long, or maybe that was the Mt. Dew. (Epson QX-10)
Think it's hard to "cut and paste" using touch screens, try doing it when your hands and arms shake uncontrollably due to Essential Tremor or Parkinsons.
Trust me it's not easy or fun! LOL
