SB24-084
Attorney General Duties to Prevent Mis- & Dis-information
Concerning a requirement that the attorney general undertake certain measures in an effort to prevent the proliferation of misinformation and disinformation, and, in connection therewith, making an appropriation.
SESSION: 2024 Regular Session
SUBJECT: State Government
BILL SUMMARY

To prevent and combat the sharing and spreading of misinformation and disinformation, the attorney general is required to:

Establish an initiative to encourage respectful engagement and discourse;
Develop and share a curriculum to facilitate productive and honest conversations regarding statewide and national issues to help people find common ground; and
Collaborate with organizations across the state to develop and update the materials that are used in connection with the curriculum.

The attorney general is also required to study how the internet and other media channels, including social media platforms, are used to share and spread misinformation and disinformation. In addition, the attorney general is required to review relevant state and federal constitutional provisions and federal laws and regulations to address preemption and the intersection of state and federal authority. The attorney general may invite experts to collaborate or consult with the attorney general or to provide other assistance to the attorney general in performing the duties specified in the bill.

The attorney general is required to publish a report of its findings and to submit the report to the judiciary committees of the senate and the house of representatives. The report must include recommendations for state legislation.

I have no doubt the plan here is to delay the inevitable federal court case until after the election. They will censor while they can. It's like the gun laws, they pass what will be shot down as unconstitutional and then rewrite another law which does the same thing. Guess it could be called enforcement between court cases.

It's as if the world knows the man behind the curtain is the one in power yet all agree to play the game of the fraud POTUS.
Could it be the left plans on letting Biteme take the fall for everything after we kick them out of power, hoping the country will forgive the dementedness of the doddering old fool, while the real perpetrators walk?

They are pushing us into WWIII, the world knows it, it's the last vestige left available to call for a security lockdown/martial law. Once implemented, the US stagnates, elections are called off, debts placed on hold and communication becomes a one way street, from the left to the rest of us.

I know this is their plan, they need this badly, because they know they lost the support of the people.
But then, division was always the plan to destroy the culture.
The normal person would think this was a stupid plan, but with the knowledge the end goal was always World War and a permanent dictatorship, it makes total sense.

Remember, "Only Two Weeks To Stop The Spread"...
That will be the same claim used under martial law, or however they designate their power grab.

Trapping the US in a war, takes away the voice of the people. Am I really wrong here?
At this point I would have to say the left has no plan. Unless out of control panic is a plan.

Through mudslinging, bad court cases, and lying media, Trump was supposed to be gone, instead he has grown to massive size! Actually, their plan fell apart when Hillary failed to win. Biden was never a solution, he was just the only stoolie they had who could keep the election close enough to cheat. They are no longer close enough to cheat.

I think they really thought if they could get Biden in the white house, their party could work out a plan, instead, they could not even keep the party together.  They have no one to push. They have no agenda. And there ain't enough lawyers to keep all of them out of jail.

Justice is a real bad word among liberals. I bet karma scares the hell out of liberals, but I really don't like going there, karma scares the hell out of me too. Oh, so much happened in my youth.

Don't worry, they have already been told what they say by "experts". That's why they all have the exact same response.

I believe that is an underestimating of the prices. Nose-bleed seats?
