So yeah, there's your proof she's a female.

MSM Distraction News / EXCLUSIVE: Meet Malia Obama's new squeeze!

Not much going on today so I was wondering who the Obama's had over for Thanksgiving?

Quote
Malia Obama, 19, was photographed kissing a mystery man at a Harvard-Yale tailgate in New Haven on Saturday

The lucky man in question is Rory Farquharson, a fellow Harvard student who is British, DailyMail.com can exclusively reveal

The 19-year-old swapped the UK for the US when he arrived in Cambridge, Massachusetts, last fall with the three simple words: 'So it begins'

Farquharson attended one of England's most prestigious and posh schools, Rugby School, and is currently a sophomore at Harvard

An insider at his former school said he was 'quite the catch' and very popular.

Another photo shows Malia smoking what appears to be a cigarette.

The Daily Mail report wrote, "Farquharson might have some explaining to do if he ends up meeting Obama, seeing that the UK transplant follows President Trump on Twitter, but not Malia's father."

Political Discussion and Debate / Re: Dims Hate Tradition
« Last post by Solar on Today at 11:18:43 AM »
--------------------------------------------------------------------

Solar raised a critical issue using the word Tradition, that deserved much
better than my muddled and opaque commentary above; so let me try again.
Kirk, a student of the Ancients, asserted that tradition is the at the core
of Principled Conservatism because it is the bridge/causeway to the eternal.
The Soul of Man exists within the sphere of the eternal while his
Body and Mind exists within the sphere of the temporal.
As the essence of tradition is custom, convention and continuity;
by adhering to these behaviors and habits,
we continue to construct and fortify that bridge every day of life.
Yet the cranks and malcontents throughout history insist they have the better way.
Hence their relentless quest to perfect Man and their rejection of the
moral order derived from the Natural Law, governing Man and Society.
Burke knew them w/his observation, " While the individual is often a fool; the species is wise."
Well stated Walter.

It's true, tradition is the fabric of society. For millennia man has tested failed ideas and rested with tradition, Eg. marriage between man and woman for procreation as well as lineage and a place in the world.
Theft, murder, rape, all damaging to society as a whole, which is why laws governing society today is based on tried and true values of the past.
Thanksgiving is history carried over by generations to connect with a trusted heritage of giving and peace, a time when family reconnects.

And to think, the left wants to destroy these values, yet people allow their PC nonsense to exist?

Indeed!
In his 1983 Treatise on Principled Conservatism, Russell Kirk compressed the
articulated wisdom of Plato, Ockham, Burke, among many dozens; as follows:
* man is guided by an enduring moral order derivative of the Natural Law,
* human nature is constant and moral truths are permanent,
* our other worldly Soul, reflects the order of eternity, in contrast to
* our this worldly Mind, which reflects the order of culture/society;
which is why the continuity of tradition is vital for the survival of Mankind.

HAPPY THANKSGIVING.....AND HAVE A MERRY CHRISTMAS!

Leftists can't stand it when people are Happy and celebrating AMERICAN Holidays and Include God, Prayer and blessings in the mix as it should be.

Leftists want everyone to be as miserable and unhappy as they are, so naturally they try to ruin your good holiday's and get togethers. They hate family, they hate traditional male female roles and they hate Prayer. So celebrating the Holidays are All the more reason to do it.

This Thanksgiving I'm thankful I'm not a leftist and no one in my family or circle of friends are.

Thank GOD I was born an American.

Same here, although Mrs. Sup has a wayward cousin who was in the teacher's union.

Science and Technology / Re: Windows 10 migration back to 8
« Last post by Solar on Today at 08:59:00 AM »
Win8 made me dump all my 32-bit machines for 64-bit, and load them with at least 4g of RAM - which gives nice performance.
I really like those BeeBox machines... they also run off 12VDC, low power consumption, speed, 1080p & 4k graphics and USB3.  We mount them on the back of the monitor(s).  Paired with a solid state drive (chip drive on the MB), and a TB drive for additional storage, I love them.

After trying Win10 on them.... at first it looked fine, but the constant updates made them slower and slower - slower booting, programs running slower, WTF is going on here?   We're updating updates, and then I get this "Install win10 upgrade" Icon!?!?   Enough of beta testing for MS - and BTW, I am NOT going to "cloud storage" anything.  Talk about a disaster waiting to happen.  Sure, I'll give up all the software I paid for, and migrate to Office 365 - for WHAT?!?   A version of VISIO with a menu bar is crowded with non-design, worthless template crap?  Office 2010 was the last good version, good integration, good scaling.  After that, I see ZERO appreciable improvement in Word, Excell, Visio, Power Point.  If I want to "collaborate", I'll share my desktop.   Everything from 2013 on, is s-l-o-w-e-r and cluttered, IMO.

So, why do I use Microsoft products?   Because I have to, not because I want to.  Haven't used MS or Google web surfing programs in a long, long time.  Never though I'd find relief going backwards, but Win8 is just fine for my 64bit machines & software.
It's sad that no one has developed an OS that is bare bones loaded frontend on hard memory, then if you like, you are more than welcome to add Office, or any number of specialized programs, but give me the working basics, allow me to turn on the power and immediately go to work, instead of the long extended boot times associated with Windows, only to discover, a download is underway, which will require another reboot in a few minutes.
There goes the next hour.

I'm the consumer, sell me WTF I want, and not frontload it with Office, Adobe or any of the hundreds of POS that come loaded with Win, I'll decide what I want after purchase.
