The San Antonio City Council has passed a resolution attacking the use of the term "Chinese virus" to describe the coronavirus.

The resolution, which proclaims that "COVID-19 will not be stopped by political boundaries and was not created or caused by any race, nationality or ethnicity, and the World Health Organization has cautioned against using geographic descriptors that can fuel ethnic and racial discrimination" passed unanimously, according to WOAI-TV.

San Antonio has been in the news over the past year for its efforts to prevent Chick-fil-A from opening at the city's airport, couching its battle against the popular fast-food franchise as a battle against an organization it paints as anti-LGBTQ.

Chick-fil-A was invoked by Republican Sen. Ted Cruz of Texas when he tweeted his disbelief of the San Antonio resolution.

"This is NUTS. SA City Council behaving like a lefty college faculty lounge, triggered by Chick-fil-A & the words 'Wuhan virus.' If they want to investigate someone, start with NYT & CNN who both repeatedly (and rightly) referred to it as "the Chinese coronavirus," Cruz tweeted.

Relying on Governor Murphy's Public Health Emergency executive order, she issued a Health Department order that set out to achieve "the expedited receipt of patients/residents discharging from hospitals" by warning that, "no patient/resident shall be denied re-admission or admission to the post-acute care setting solely based on a confirmed diagnosis of COVID-19."

The New Jersey Health boss further warned that "post-acute care facilities are prohibited from requiring a hospitalized patient/resident who is determined medically stable to be tested for COVID-19 prior to admission or readmission."

The order was horrifying, but not unusual. A number of blue states, including New York and California, had issued similar orders. But New Jersey had nearly half its deaths occur in nursing homes. Horrifying scenes, such as 18 bodies stacked in one nursing home facility waiting for pickup or the 53 veterans who died at the New Jersey Veterans Memorial Home in Paramus, would soon fill the news.

I read this morning that 67% of all Chinese Flu deaths have been in nursing homes.
Sorry, I don't remember the site, AP or Reuters, etc.

Cuomo: Coronavirus Patients Cannot Be Discharged To Nursing Homes Now Till They're Cleared...

You would think this would be normal procedure. But this guy is not much brighter than DeBlasio....

Patients in New York hospitals must now test negative for the coronavirus before they can be discharged to nursing homes, Gov. Andrew Cuomo said Sunday — partially reversing a policy that forced sickened seniors into facilities housing those most vulnerable.

"We're just not going to send a person who is positive to a nursing home after a hospital visit," said Cuomo during an Albany press briefing. "Period."

The ruling partially overrides a controversial March 25 order that nursing homes cannot deny admission or readmission on the basis of a positive or suspected COVID-19 case.

That policy has been roundly criticized as counterintuitive for forcing coronavirus carriers into nursing homes, even as Cuomo has repeatedly acknowledged that seniors are among those most susceptible to the virus.

I assume you mean the wuflu, but if that was the case, why did china shut down their 3 cities? The virus that hit the U.S. does not appear to me to be of the magnitude that hit china. It doesn't help that there are more conspiracies out there than who killed JFK, but why did china hit the panic button and close down if it was just the nursing homes, although that does seem to be the case here. I know pollution and smoking are far worse in china, did that make the virus so deadly and fearful? It's easy now to say we overreacted, but no one is saying china overreacted and they completely closed down three cities.( or four, can't remember, and damn near ruined their economy. One question I don't think we know the answer yet, just how bad was this virus?

Might have something to do with the way the Chinese live and eat.   Plus....even though I think the WuFlu/Chinese Virus was most likely developed in a lab..i don't think they intended for it to escape.  There were earlier reports of just how careless and lacking in effective procedures this lab was/is.   

NOR do I believe that this virus didn't make it here to January/February.  It was here in Nov/December 2019.    And I believe I know people who had it at that time.

You'd have to ask them, but they aren't telling anyone. I suspect they thought it to be far worse than it was when they released it on their own people, be it accident or on purpose makes no difference, they constructed it for germ warfare and panicked when it hit the populace.

I posted a video showing that the lab closed a month earlier than when the first cases showed up, meaning they knew what they had done, and still did nothing to warn the world.
This also proves the CCP knew they were about to suffer through the worst economy they'd ever experienced, so they wanted to share their misery with the rest of the world despite a lock down, they allowed their people to travel freely about the planet.

However, when wearing a synthetic mask the person is filtering their air through a synthetic material that outgases the petrochemically derived constituents that most are made of. The masked individual is then breathing in those aerosolized toxic chemicals.

Many of the sickest COVID patients already have various respiratory illnesses and/or chemical sensitivities so putting a mask on them is the worst thing that can be done. The same applies to people who are relatively healthy but have E.I. syndrome or MCS.*
