Not this this is any surprise to those here but the stats are worth a look.  Maybe there should be a lottery system prior to a news conference so that the President can't control who gets called on and or who he can avoid.   Not that difficult to implement.  He doesn't take that many questions, so pull 10 or 20 randomly using the lottery type system.

"The favorite news outlet of conservatives ranks just ninth in presser questions in Obama's first term, getting to ask questions at only half the rate of the Big 3 broadcast networks."

A lottery would never be implented. Even if it made it through congress, it would have a slim chance of passing the senate..............and if it did, Obama would veto it.

We still have a Congress?

Going through the numbers, it appears he has called upon the 3 major VHF networks more than the others.
What this means is, he knows his audience, only idiots still watch network news, not that smart ones watch cable, smart people watch none of this BS, they know a lie when they see it.
But network news fools are just that, complete fools that need to be led around by the nose.

Wan to beat them? Turn off the TV.

Oh, that's right. Maybe not.

Rather than trying to set up a lottery, congress should be holding weekly press conferences and exposing Obama's lies.

Great idea.  It's a shame they are toolame to do it.  The media likely wouldn't cover it anyway.

The thing is when they do get "face time"  they play, "nicey, nicey" instead of dishing back what they are served and going for the jugular.

If the GOP and conservatives in congress don't realize that they are playing with a cold blooded shark, they deserve what they get. Unfortunately, we all will pay the price for their weakness.

I couldn't agree more.  He's despicable and ruthless...all with that big stupid grin on his puss.
