You raise an excellent point, Not only does Trump hate laws binding him from acting like the scum ball he is, he knows next to nothing about it, even tried to use it against Cruz in claiming birthright citizenship wasn't in the Constitution.
A quick search of 'Trump Constitution' reveals an eery absence of Trump's knowledge on the subject.

Being the liberal that he is, if he does mention the Constitution he will say that it's living breathing document that changes with the times. He and his liberal counter parts hate the 1st, 2nd, and 4th Amendments.

The real question for me...

Will Donald Trump go after Ted Cruz, further distancing himself from the TEA / Conservatives?

If he's smart, he'll extend the olive branch to Ted Cruz (like he should have done a month ago), and try to bring his supporters over to his side.   Maybe even offer Cruz some kind of cabinate position, compliment him , or GASP!  Apologize for his campaign tactics.

I expect Donald to be on-fire and taking several swipes at Ted and everyone who doesn't beg at his feet - an attempt to bully them into his fold.

The trump we have all gotten to know does not extend the olive branch. He knew what ted was going to say and had his people move into place within the crowd. Last night he gave Ted the floor and then turned it back on him. He is being shown to be a petty little man who does not deal well with dissent.  What I am grateful for is the many people who DONT listen to the talking heads on the MSM's, they know what happened last night and are fully aware it was in bad form, not on Cruz's part but trumps.

I agree. If I was Trump I would have put Ted, Heidi, and his father on a plane. Get them on stage and apologize to Heidi first, Ted's dad second and then to Cruz himself.

Why would he do that?

At no time would Cruz disavow attacks against Trump's wife then or thru today.

and why would Cruz apologize for what someone else did, I never heard trump go after the super pac, just Cruz. As to answer the first question "why would he do that", a real man would not have stooped that low as to insult Cruz's wife, and having done so, a real man would have corrected his mistake. But trump is more spoiled brat than man.
