It was then, like you, I too would go to trade shows and setup, and instantly everyone thought I was just as left as they were.

I just love the way you describe leftists talking to you at your setup.  I can just imagine things you said to them.  I usually didn't get them at mine because I was printing and selling wildlife t-shirts with hunting and fishing themes.  Did get some dirty looks by lookyloos though.
