Why we must back Trump... (a funny thing happened on the way to the forum)

I have hated Donald Trump since he stole the nomination from a field of Republican candidates which included several much more qualified Conservatives.

Along with other Conservatives, I have anguished over what Obama and the Democrats (Marxists) have done to our county over the past eight years. We all had so much hope for a true Conservative to carry the Republican banner in this election. So many of us believed that the time was right for the majority of Americans to come together and reject the Democrat's path of the destruction of this country, which we all love so much.

Unfortunately...Donald Trump proved himself to be even a more talented charlatan than our current Celebrity-In-Chief. We lost our chance to have one of our own lead our nation in the direction required to undo the damage done by the Marxists.

I came to realize that what I hated the most, is what Rush came to call the "Uninformed Voters" who snatched Obama a victory in 2012, right out of the jaws of what looked to be his inevitable defeat! Donald Trump has inspired (so many of) them to not only support him...but to trust him and renew their wish upon a star HOPE for a CHANGE they can BELIEVE IN!

In our polarized 50/50 nation, where about fifty percent of either party will vote for whoever (whatever) individual their own party picks...the fight is around the margins..and that mean what the media calls the "undecided voters". So many of these are the "uniformed voters" who cast their votes for the celebrity candidate that says what they wish to hear!

Disgusting as it is...It is what it is!

NOW...I have come to BELIEVE that our choice is no more than choosing the lesser of TWO EVILS!

Obama has demonstrated that he and his Alynsky style Marxists will destroy this county and rebuild it to suit themselves. Children who were TEN YEARS OLD at the time Obama came to power, will now be voting in this election! If the Marxists have another one of their own elected, They will see it as a Mandate to continue on their Path towards a Marxist Oligarchy!

Conservatives must suck it up and deal with the reality that Hillary Clinton must be defeated and that the only way we have a place at the table, is if we help Donald J. Trump defeat her!

I guess it's not so funny, but I see members of this forum whom I respect as great Americans and solid Conservatives willing to concede this election to Hillary and the Marxist Cabal..rather than vote for a man they despise (who, I agree is not a Conservative).

Folks, let's not make the Perfect, the enemy of the Good! It will just have to be good enough for us to control all three branches of our government and be able to have a positive, conservative voice in the direction of this county

If (when) Hillary is elected and we lose our country and all of our cherished freedoms, will you be able to sleep at night knowing that you did not do what you could have done to stop the Marxists movement to Change America into the country that was the Dream of Obama's Father and Marxist all over the world! Anyone who does not vote for Trump in this important election, may as well be voting for Hillary, even if they just decide to stay home!

Yeah, the brain dead morons that got us into this mess by supporting Trump over so many better candidates ought to be taken out to the woodshed and horsewhipped! Nevertheless, we can not simple sit on the sidelines and by so doing enable Hillary and her cabal to continue to wreak havoc upon our Constitution, freedoms, values and traditions! I agree with many that the most scary thing about Trump is that he is not one of us and we don't know what he will do..but we know the HildaBeast is not one of us and we know what she will do, so we have no choice but to oppose this coup of the far left!

Got news for you. If Hillary gets elected it will be the fault of Trump supporters, not because of us who wont support him. He was chosen by the democrats to face Hillary due to him being the weakest candidate on the republican ticket. The so called conservatives who joined in will be the blame, not me. I respect your comment as being both dispassionate and realistic. I hope other Conservatives can come to terms with their emotions and get back in the game. We must stop the Communists from completing the destruction of our country for they will enslave us all; just as they have in any place communism has been allowed to take root. I won't allow my dislike for this man (Trump) to cloud my judgement and nullify my ability to take a stand in some meaningful way.

It comes down to this.... We know we are f**ked if Hillary becomes POTUS and we may be f***ked if Trump does. However, if Republicans control all three branches of our government, conservatives may still be able to influence Trump to do some 'conservative' things that we like.
