Democrats don't debate Trump on the issues, because their agenda is a turn-off.  Under the leadership of Alinskyite Barack Obama, the Democratic Party has degenerated from liberalism to progressivism.  It has not been pretty.   A focus on preferential treatment for blacks has given way to a war on cops.  Caring about Hispanic Americans suddenly means America shouldn't have borders and should have sanctuary for rapists and killers -- as long as they are here illegally.

Browbeating college kids by empowerring feminists and black activists with Title IX money has turned college campuses against freedom of thought and speech.  Women's issues have bizarrely turned into a war on masculinity.  Gay rights has morphed into men in women's bathrooms.  Pro-choice turned into third-trimester infanticide and lawsuits against the Little Sisters of the Poor.  Physical violence against Republicans is encouraged by President Obama and Clinton under the euphemism 'protest.'

Democrat progressive politics is weird and ugly and dangerous, and people across the country have recoiled from it.  As Marc Thiessen says with his usual eloquence, "You can drive some 3,000 miles across the entire continental United States — from sea to shining sea — without driving through a single county that voted for Hillary Clinton."

A bit of reality: The democratic party has NEVER been liberal. Liberalism, originally, was the philosophy of self rule and minimal government. The democratic party has never supported those ideals, but rather a platform of large, intrusive government and a ruling elite. They are, and have been since WWI, progressives.  They and their propaganda division corrupted the term "liberal" to attach to their agenda when the general public turned down their progressive program shortly after WWII.

To answer the the thread subject question, it is all they have. This has been the case for 50 years. The democrat is bankrupt of ideas they can publicly profess. Their true desires were exposed in this election and those desires were rejected.

Hey, libs, those people you keep refering to as racist are gonna vote in the next election. You think they're gonna vote for a party that refers to them as racist?

My advice to you is please by all means keep it up. It's sure to keep your candidates out of office.

This is where President Trump really needs to succeed.  The Dems will run a stronger candidate next election, so Trump has a chance to not only get back those who voted in 2016 but also conservatives like us (not just the anti-Hillary conservatives), and other voters who sat out.  He barely beat the weakest candidate ever.

It's incredible how stupid they are. They have to come up with something better than transgender bathrooms, racists, and global warming.  We really need to tear down academia and turn it back over to the people.

Very easy to explain their preoccupation with social engineering. The desired goal of the ruling elite is more power. More power is derived through bigger, more intrusive government. Their working excuse for the expansion of government is instability in society - instability which is brought about through the promotion of social ideals which are inherently unstable. The traditional family - from basic through extended - is the most stable social unit available to the human species. Other forms have worked, but only in small, compact, homogeneous societies. For large and complex societies, the traditional family unit is essential to overall stability. (You can't build a stable wall using bricks made of jello!) The act of destabilizing the family unit, ("no fault" divorce, welfare to promote single parent families, drug war, gay marriage, etc. etc. etc. - all attacks on the basic family unit) destabilizes society, which in turn is used as their excuse to grow government authority.

These days, the party of screaming kooks, baby butchers, druggies, ex-cons, plain and fancy liars and assorted and sundry moral lepers unfortunately does not just scream. Somewhere a great idea got lost: earn your own stuff, don't steal it and then try to justify it later as an act of protest and not a felony.

Their fading emphasis on the working man (I feel) reflects the increased number of female supporters of that party, and the female dominance within the very educational system producing such appallingly ignorant worldviews. Here, have a Certificate of Participation, that'll stave off World War III.....
