Possibly... but I'd imagine Weinstein is such a central cog in the Marxist movement controlling Hollywood that it would be a big sacrifice...

I've been pondering the same question. Why Weinstein, and why now?
Like you, I too look for the even bigger story, and for the Dims to sacrifice one of their top Hollyweird deep pockets, something huge must be lying under the surface with an expiration date.

In other words, whatever the story the leftist media is hiding won't matter in a couple of weeks.
But to sacrifice a Producer? It has to be huge. I never thought I'd see the day when the Dim party would be so toxic, that even the ground they walk on has to be sent to a hazardous waste site.

Every story that breaks these days has Dim corruption all over it, unlike yesteryear, where you had to dig past the media bull shit to find the dim connection, today, you have the Dim connection on the surface and only have to dig a little to see just how deep, bad, and which Marxists were involved.

I'm guessing it is just showing that the democrat party no longer has any power. Those who could have helped cover for weinstein, who had to power to control the media's reporting of this, no longer can call the shots for anyone. Hell, they can not even cover for each other, there are reports surfacing every day about new corruption and they can not do anything about it. I do not think this is a case to follow the money, I think this is what broke looks like for the dims.
