We've got to get the money out of the system and increase the number of representatives to make it more representatives of our desires.

We, as Americans, all know and talk about the corruption. We need officials closer to us that we can hold better accountable.
True, we are under represented. Both party's locked the number of Reps for a reason, they didn't want competition.
It's not what the Founders envisioned.

I guessing most of the masses could not tell you who their representative is, they just hit the party button. How about we don't let every idiot vote? Or maybe term limits so the idiot can not vote for the same idiot more than twice? Actually if the lsm would ever tell the truth instead of slanted opinion that would help. But, if we look on the bright side, the internet is getting the word out there and Trump has set the liberals back at least 20 years. I would still like to see congress only meet every other year for 90 days, not much grandstanding can be done in that short of time.

Case in point. TEA and the IRS scandal and how the Pubs ran block for the Dims. We know they were in as deep as the Marxists in wanting to stop us.

That was the most devastating part, discovering that the R vs. D doesn't really exist.  It's Globalists vs. Patriots.  I still feel the disappointment.  Their betrayal was hard to swallow.  Thank God people are beginning to wake up and do not like what they are seeing.  #Trump2020

Yeah, it's sad that the GOP keeps the Dim party alive so they have something to blame for their own unconstitutional BS.
The Omnibus Bill Ryan gave to Fuglosi was the evidence the sleep R voter needed to see. The RINO tried to blame the increase of the deficit on Obozo, when in truth, it was these RINO that gave the Dims everything they asked for and more.
Truth is, if not for the GOP, the dim party would have been gone a decade ago for all the corruption, but then, all eyes would be on the RINO corruption and they couldn't have that spotlight on them.

Actually, can you explain how Congress meets now?

In Florida the legislative session is only 60 days. I think they do it twice a year.

Congress seems to always be going

No doubt it's time for a part time Congress that only meets once a year and telecommutes the rest of the year.

Texas meets once every other year for ninety days, since we do not have a state income tax they just don't need to be in session all that long. U.S. Congress has to meet at least once a year, but since there is so much more tax $ to spend they need more than ninety days. Here is a calendar to scroll thru the different months  https://www.house.gov/legislative-activity which shows this year, do not think it covers the impeachment farce, so they might be in session more days than what is shown.

Thanks.

Doesn't seem like all that much, tbh.

I counted about 30 days in the last 3 months

It starts with the RNC Chairman.
Ronna Romney McDaniel (current) Mitt's niece
followed
Reince Priebus  was Paul Ryans Boy
followed
Michael Steele who joined Morning Smoe to bash the GOP at MSNBC

These are the people that helped pick and choose who ran in what district.

The GOP Fear the media and the rest of the Democrats.  The Dems fight dirty.  So does Trump!  The GOP are afraid to stand up for what's right.  As much as a contradiction as it may seem, "Standing Up"  for what's right means getting down in the mud and wrestling those pigs into submission.  It's win or lose!
