That is easy.
They won the House, because Republican Establishment Elites tried to dis and undermine Trump.  They HAD the House.  They had the Senate.  McLame screwed the pooch by trying to derail Trump on Obozocare.  The People saw this.  They heard Romney, Ayotte, Collins, Flake, Gardner, Hannah(who endorsed Hillary), and a host of others from the Senate, House and Cabinet.  They deserved to lose, I just hate that that meant the Democommies won.
In My Opinion, this will hurt the Dems, more than it hurts Trump.  I feel sure the Dems will lose the House, and maybe even lose seats in the Senate.
Notice, many are now getting on board with Trump, where they were happy before, to just let him bear the whole weight of the Dems attack, on himself.  Graham for one.

Unfortunately, they were late figuring it out and it cost the House. Also, we cannot forget how Paul Ryan undermined Trump. He could have been a hero and chose the wrong fork in the road. It cost him his career as Speaker.

We always have to remember, that Trump is an Outsider.  The insiders, Like Paul Ryan, expected Business as Usual, if Hitlery won.  When  Trump won, it may have short circuited the Dems and Liberals Nationwide, but it sent the Pubbie Never Trumpers Scrambling for cover.  They never trusted Trump to battle the Dems.  They thought the Pelousy and Shroomer gang would dissect Trump, as they had seen the Dems do to others.  They never expected Trump to fire back the way he does.  They never Fathomed that he would win the war of attrition the Dems started with him.  Much to their surprise, Trump has been "teaching the class".
They have been hiding behind the Dems for a long time.  Totally content to let Dems win.  They are spineless.  That is why I became a Conservative Independent.  I don't want my name associated with either party.  The Dems are corrupt and  the Pubbies, are Jellyfish.
