Not families. Comrades. Believers. The proletariat. You know, morons.
Bernie supporters call this Progressive, where every prole has access to transportation, though not so excessive as to damage the environment.

If progress means wiping your butt with your hand, I'll pass. Just how stupid do you have to be to prefer that lifestyle over ours?

I think they ran out of TP when Hugo was in power.  They import everything and export oil.  The oil market is waaaaaay down.

Why don't Marxists understand that socialism doesn't work?  They have all kinds of examples, yet continue to believe in it.

You have hit at the very crux of the whole affair, Dori! That is a very insightful post!! Brilliant! Socialism does not achieve the goals it claims to aspire to. Ever. But it works great FOR THOSE IN THE 0.001% which make up the SOCIALIST RULING ELITE. For everyone except the Ruling Elite it is a brutal carnival of despair, mutual rape, self-mutilation,catastrophe and needless waste / destruction. They complain about the "1%" but never about the 0.001% socialist ruling class who use the morally lofty credulity of people get them  to willingly allow their pockets to be looted and to be subjugated to a cold-blooded, amoral Statist Authority of their own free will.

That's what I don't get about the Occupy Wall Street fools and other anti-Capitalist movements. Even though capitalism is the single greatest force for positive improvement for the plight of the lowest levels of income-earners in the U.S. and around the world, the Marxists, quasi-Marxists and useful idiots who support them (Democrats, et al) somehow ignore all of those centuries of steady improvement (propelled and sustained by private investment of resources and wealth toward creating better and more affordable vital products and services) and concentrate on the flaws of that system. All the while they utterly and completely ignore or worse, deny the history of how the upper-elite of every radical socialist regime in modern history has brutally exploited and raped the culture and society which they ruled (usually with a militant totalitarian iron fist).

It seems that there is a self-destruction, self-mutilation, self-annihilation mechanism built into the human psyche and that socialists understand instinctively how to exploit that mercilessly.

That is because the United States has victimized the rest of the world, not because our forefathers worked and sacrificed to turn this into a great country and our society encouraged entrepreneurship and ingenuity.  Didn't you get the libtard propagand........ errr memo?

See "Alienism" as described by Joseph Sobran (colleague/close friend of WFB) Sobran nailed down this perverse sadistic proclivity of far leftists and has it nailed down and bleeding from every extremity (nods to the spirit of Hunter Thompson).

Every time I hear some libtard scum say the only reason we are a superpower is because we victimize other nations I just want to slap them. I find it insulting when they criticize the accomplishments of our forefathers. The United States drove the industrial, electronic, and information age.

These hypocrites drive to their coffee shops, waste their day on their iPad surfing the internet (abusing welfare instead of working) and complain about the people around them that make all these things possible.

If they want to talk about victimization lets talk about the 19 trillion dollars of debt their "entitlements" have buried working America in.

Fools.

God I hate libtards.

Alienism: The philosophy that the only culture NOT worth appreciating, promoting, or  preserving is one's own culture. Alienists include anti-colonialists, anti-conservatives, and anti-traditionalists who all view U.S. culture / traditions as inferior to virtually all other cultures including authochthonous (primitive non technological ) cultures, radical socialist states, rogue theocracies or openly fascist totalitarian states). Noam Chomsky, Michael Moore, Karl Marx are all good examples of alienists - because they believe that U.S. / Western culture is more of a force for bad than good in the world and voice little or no harsh criticism of any culture/society except U.S. / Western society/culture. Alienists believe that they owe the society which produced them absolutely nothing whatsoever in support, appreciation or cooperation.
