Zac Efron recently awarded serial killer Ted Bundy with White Privilege status.  This is another example of an actor making millions of dollars from tragedy.  His guilt leads him to make some kind of political statement denouncing serial murder yet enables him to take the money he is paid for portraying Ted Bundy.  He cites 'White Privilege'.  We've heard about that, and its evil cousin 'White Nationalism'.  What does that really mean anyway?  I was born white - I didn't have a say in that. 

When it comes to 'privilege', well, I was born into a poor white family.  Dirt Poor.  My father was a mechanic and my mother was a book-keeper.  We lived in a trailer park.  The only time people mentioned 'white', it was followed by 'trash'.  I grew up in the 1960s and 1970s.  During the busing era.  In the Deep South.  Florida.  They bused the poor white kids across town, past every other school in town, to the south side where the black kids went to school.  The principal was black.  The vice-principal was black.  My 5th and 6th grade teachers were black.  Every teacher I has was black.  More than half the students were black.  At the time, I went with it.  I didn't know politics as a 12 year-old.  I liked my teachers.  I got a good education from people who wanted to teach kids.  And the kids were just kids.  We all got along.  It wasn't until we were told we were supposed to hate each other that we thought about it.  It wasn't until the Obama administration that I took a second look at what happened.  I grew up thinking people were just people.  I had friends of all races.  The only thing we had in common was that we were all dirt-poor. 

White Privilege?  Don't know what that means.  White Trash? Been there, done that.  I never heard it from the black kids.  It was from the white kids at the middle and upper class schools.  The schools we drove by on our hour long bus ride to our disadvantaged, historically black schools, were full of kids eager to call us names.  So what, we said.  We'll beat you at football, baseball, basketball, whatever.  We heard it on the playing field.  We didn't care.

So now, we hear from liberal elites about how America is so evil, so racist and so illegitimate that we should feel guilty as a nation and give in to whatever the liberals demand as compensation.  Liberal Hollywood, 24 hour news and the recently anointed congressional holy-ones agree - PAY.  Pay and pay now.  Pay big.  Pay more.  Pay again.
Pay until you are no longer guilty.  What they're neglecting to tell you is that all that money will filter through their liberal hands first.  They will decide who is truly deserving.  They will study it first, but only at a cost.  Their university friends will get the money, and then decide who gets the crumbs that fall to the floor.

If paying would end injustice, once and for all, I would pay it, and pay gladly.  Here's your money.  I'll give you my life's savings, just shut-the-hell up.  You're now equal.  Social Justice.  I'm not sure why I paid, or what I am paying for, but the 400 years of history has now been compensated for. Me, I've never risen above White Trash.

Ted Bundy - can't stand him.  He killed white people.  White women.  Got the death penalty.  Rightly deserved.  Been dead for 30 years.  Why are you trying to drag me into it?

We were white trash too but funny I hold none of the resentment the above author feels about racism and white privilege in America.  Few here are aware of EEO but I was once interviewed by one of their agents on why the place we worked had no minority workers. I mean come on folks, were you born yesterday or this morning.  For the interested reader there is plenty of information and data on bias and bigotry even today, but if you want only to whine go for it.  Readings below.

You completely failed to grasp his meaning.
That aside, there is no race problem, only the perception the left creates through the need to keep people divided, the left needs victims to exist.
Get over yourself. You want to be a victim of an imagined problem, you want to make everyone's life better? Knock yourself out, I'm too busy living my own life.
There is empathetic rhetoric and there action, all the left ever does is whine about a problem they created, just look a history, not an opinionated history, be true history, and you'll find it is always leftists that cause the problems..

Doesn't it bother you that everything, and I mean everything these days centers around politics and its little brother racial politics?  Can we not watch a frickin' football game without some multi-million dollar athlete complaining about how racist his world is?  I stopped watching professional sports as a result.  Can we not go to the movies without being hot over the head with how racist America is?  I used to watch the Oscars.  Now it is an award orgy for anyone who wants to trash America.  And now some actor-idiot is trying to equate serial murder with being white.

So I will use simple words so you can understand.  All the white guys who owned slaves are dead.  Have been for about 100 years.  All the white guys who oppressed blacks are dead or are really old.  You can blame my great grand-father, but quit blaming me.  The anger you sense is not me being a racist, or hating people of color, it is me resenting having to defend the actions of people who are long dead and I don't know.
