Yup the Russians are invading our military air space with bombers capable of carrying nuclear weapons (Tu-95 jets) the Chinese Military are infiltrating our computers systems/servers at a cost of billions and Oblamer is BACK on VACATION. So why doesn't he just turn our country over to them? Just F*cking Amazing! And the MSM is Silent.

So now that Oblamer is calapsing our financial markets the economy is slipping into another recession. Sort of compares to the Carter yrs. Then came Reagan. The difference is we now will not be able to have a military build up like Reagan did because we OWE the CHINESE and we have no money and no credit.

Could this be the Chinese and Russians plan, just wait us out? What do y'all think?

My opinion is there will be an all out war in the middle east before Oblamer leaves office and this will include Korea, Chinese and Russia somehow.

I'm no expert, but given what I see/read/think.  Russia.

The Russian economy is largely independent of ours, irc.  They have a deep hatred for us that lingers on.  While they have their old land (and old claims, like Poland and Germany) to tend to, I doubt they'd truely pass up an oppurtunity to kick a dog while its down.

Compare that to China.  China would probaby want the pacific.  There are many islands and Austrailia.  Even Japan and the Asiain coastline and then I hear they don't really like India. . .  Speaking of.

Korea and other minor powers of the world:  am I underestimating them?  Who is them?

I don't believe any of them are interested in a country where the populace is armed, they merely need to wait us out and when the time is right, buy up our resources that many, along with the Govt will be selling off in order to pay off the interest to our debt.

Why fight us, when all you have to do is be patient, and we know just how patient the Chinese are in their long term views.

Then why do these exercises? Why bother then infiltrating our computer? A war in the ME even if they stay behind the scenes will speed things up. WE DON"T HAVE THE MONEY to get into a WAR in the Middle East. If Iran, Syria Israel start anything I think we will be involved, How about you?

The way I see it there are two ways of explaining Russia
(1) Yuri Alexandrovic Bezmenov theory: The Soviet Union collapse was an illusion, appear weak when you are strong strategy. They want to make the US think they won the cold war, disarm, overstretch and destroy its economy by moving industrial base to communist country. This is either a prelude to war or too make the american people desperate for change/revolution which the communist/socialists will provide and control.

(2) Victor Davis Hanson analysis: Russia under Putin is a new KGB state characterized by Putin. Putin wants to humiliate USA and punish USA through diplomatic means and indirect means. This doesn not mean Russia wants war with the US, but it does mean that Putin want to taunt its superiority over USA especially when the US is ruled by spineless cowards and outright traitors that want communism to win. Many economists state that Russia economy is weak compared to the US but they judge the economy on GDP, economic growth and other civilian factors. What they forget is that both Russia and China is ruled by Oligarchy who couldnt care less about the economy as long as they have power and military superiority.

A shooting war between super powers is unlikely especially when the US is the # 1 super power.

Time doesn't stand still in these countries either and internal bickering plus the freedoms that forms of captitalism has brought to both Russia and Chinma has altered the social landscape. Ove the nmext 40 years (someone used that time frame) the people in these countries are not going to sit still.  Our # 1 threat is the maniac in North Korea. 

Without the US the rest of the world is helpless.

We may fight amongst oursleves but don't think for a minute that when push comes to shove we know how to unite.

Military exercises in International airspace are perfectly permissible.  Airspace violations are a different story.  Not aware of any that have happened lately except for the light aircraft that disturbed Obammy's back swing with Tiger in tow.   

The most divided time in USA were the civil war. Today the common values that held society together has been divided, Democrats and Republicans mostly differed on economic issues such as tariffs, national bank, taxation, foreign policy and immigration before, but never social issues. If you read the newspapers before the 1960's social issues was never the big issue, it was always economic issues. But now the country split between everything from wellfare to marriage.

Your social change argument is not substiantiated by real evidence, sure there are protests across China, but that hasn't had any impact on communist policies, the new communist parliament are the same hardliners as before. There is no bourgeois middle class that want political freedom, because they are supported by the communist. The poor are working in the same conditions as before with no more amount of social movement, and the little that has changed are public relation showcase factories and stories intended to create illusion of economic progress for the farmer/factory worker. Russia has had their little social revolution and the conclusion was that the people support Putin and the old system more than a false laizes fare economy.

The #1 threat is not North Korea, they may produce nuclear weapons and sell to terrorist organizations, but Russia and China are the biggest threat with regards to power maximization and global influence.

You forget that military establishment of China and Russia are different than politcal. Britain and Germany had good diplomatic relations all the way up the decleration of war in 1914.

The rest of the world are not helpless without the US, where the hell did that come from?

I think that saying the only thing that is the same from 40 years ago is explicitly NKs hate for us is a bit of an understatement.  Plenty hate us.  You think Japan ever forgave us for dropping two atomic bombs *on them?*

No more than we have forgiven them for the sneak attack on Pearl Harbor but I believe both countries have moved on.  Japan is now one of our staunchest allies nor have they contiuned to kill American Soldiers as the North Koreans have done since the Korean War cease fire. 

North Korea is an entirly different situation.  Their agression along the 38th Parallel since the end of the Korean War up through 1999 killed over 500 South Korean soldiers and 50 or more US.  This doesn't count ther shootdown of an EC-121.  They are a war making machine with a leader who probably plays with GI Joe dolls. 

The greatest threat has been and will always be the Russians.
The Russians are also the greatest threat to the Chinese.

After talking to my Chinese in Laws I understand how they feel about the Russians.

China is a threat but they are more of an economic threat, we are playing into their hands like fools. BUT we could make them dance
like little puppets in a Bejeing street opera if we had a clever enough leaderinstead of the complete idiot we have in the WH and the freak show that is Congress.

We could control China with our oil and energy...and yes, trade.
Playing the Chinese and the Russians against one another would be our greatest defense. It was for fifty years.
