Title: When did the American economy start to go down the toilet?
Post by: Grandma Zaza on October 16, 2010, 03:58:23 PM
In 2007 when Democrats took over majority status in Congress...and the Chairmanships of the Banking and Housing committees, it really hit the skids before the election in "08.....the better Obama's numbers got the worse the economy got....when it became clear in December of '08 that Obama would win we damn near crashed to rock bottom.......the worse he does now with his policies the better republican numbers are and it is clear now that the republicans will take over at least the House if not the Senate  too the better the economy will get.....after Obama is gone in 2012 by 2014 the economy will begin to recover......the whole nasty game is cyclical and the economy runs on the possibilities of the future, not the present situation.

I believe that future generations will look back at the 2008 Presidential election and see the Great October Surprise for what it was; A Treasonous, Illegal Act of Sabotage of our nation's economy in a Cloward-Piven, Saul Alynsky inspired attempted coup which was designed not only to defeat the Republicans and elect Barak Obama, but to defeat capitalism and lead to the implementation of a Marxist New World Order and rid the world of the United States of America, as the Leader of the Free World and a constant opponant of totalitarianism!

I believe that these same future generations will come to see that the American people and our unique system of government brought real CHANGE to Washington begining with the midterm elections of 2010 and culminating in the Defeat of Barak Obama in 2012 and a return to American Exceptionalism and prosperity!

We still haven't recovered from the Jimmy Carter years.

Ah yes, the Community ReInvestment Act and the ensuing "malaise" of the American People! We were all too stupid to see what a 'Great Society' Jimmy and his fellow Progressive Democrats were going to build for us.  Wait a minute, the 'Great Society' was the term that the other great progressive, Lyndon Baines Johnson, gave did  for to us!

It all began with FDR and has continued through each and every Democrat Administration since then!  Their same dream has become Americas nightmare!

Unfortunately, with the exception of Dwight D. Eisenhower and Ronald Reagan, no other Republican Administation has either had the balls and/or the inclination to turn back the hands of time and set our nation back on the course our Founders put us on!

Lets see what came back to haunt us from dear ol' Jimmie??

The rise of Fannie and freddie, no drilling and refining of gasoline, greater dependence on foreign oil, the islamic revolution (Iran), thus the beginings of Ghanny and Iraq.

AIDES/HIV (cuban 'refugees') thus vicariously "health care". Inflation.

The growth of Hamas and civil war in Lebanon.

Yeah...great.
