Everyone says Trump has an ego, and sure he does, to an extent, but I see through it.  He's very insecure and unsure of himself.  There's a reason he mentions Wharton School of Business every 5 minutes.  He knows he can't launch new ventures, and was born to Fred Trump, so he knows he's lost.  He is really delusional more than anything (hence why he says he did great with various failures, etc).
