What would happen if?

the Main stream media woke up tomorrow from the world of delusion and started to print the news the way it is supposed to. Lets say they dug int the economy and DEBT and admitted we were in a free fall, or turned and said listen here Oblamer guns don't kill, or Benghazi was the administrations complete failure as was turkey.
What would the public do? What would happen in the country?

Well, every once in a while CBS breaks ranks and reports breif versions of real news  :scared:  I am not sure if their viewers are independent/moderates+ libs or what, but it doesn't seem to effect them.  People with liberal tendencies (and some cons too, I won't lie), will always assume that everything negative that happens is COMPLETELY the other sides fault.

Economy is Bushes fault, and now house republicans for not raising the debt ceiling.
Fast and Furious was Bushes fault too (even though his similar plan was called something else, and Bush stopped it before it really got starte,d, realizing the danger).
Benghazi was House republicans fault, for reducing spending to our embassies.  It was also the fault of a video  :rolleyes:
Housing crisis is Bushes fault
We are still at war because Bush started it and the pubs are warmongerers.
Etc...etc...etc.  I think people would just assume the alphabet networks had "gone conservative" and they wouldn't pay attention.  No way would all those people admit they were wrong.

Keep an eye on CBS...IMO they are trying to make a comeback. Like you stated CBS brakes the ranks once in a blue moon, and now they are trying to pound ESPN the sports station. Keep a sharp eye on CBS come 2016 presidential election. Now I can be off base here, time will tell if they decide to report the news with truth to the American people. But i'm not holding my breath just wishing on a star I guess.

You mean like reporting actual events in the Middle East or world outside of American Idol? 

I saw one headline about Israel invading Syria last week and the reasons why.  The main stream media had crickets chirping.  Nothing about Chinese weapons aimed at Japanese warships.  Nothing about Russian airplanes flying in Japanese airspace without permission.

Mass panic?  Companies crippling themselves through selfless deed and the forced recant-ence it would imply?  I think they'd at best have to ease the public into it.  Americans are not encouraged to think to hard on a national level, only on their own selves and their immediate world.

But, I think we would have a lot of begrudgers and societal outcasts.  The same way most of us would be loath to give up freedom is how they would be loathe to admit their ideals of 'equality' and 'tolerance' are not only wrong but downright harmful.  They woudl threaten to organize and sleep around in tents again.  Or worse.  Actually protest.  But I think the only to undue the damage done by multiculturism and the like would be to ease into it.  Personal responsibility is a hard thing to grasp when you've lived for so long without it. . .  And so is the planning and restraint.

Matthews is too far gone to know truth if he ever saw it about Hussein. Ezra Klein and the former JournoList crew are still around, shaping general media and leftist bloggers' group-hive attitude. They and Josh Marshall and the detestable Kos are all main-lining the Kool-Aid. Their enduring unearthly love for him shall not be broken.

Can we work on how to encourage that part about mass suicides? Good ideas should be encouraged.

Libs aren't too stable to begin with, jerk the rug of their brainwashing security blanket in the MSM put these high strung types on their own without seeing their therapist in Bi weekly sessions and then cut them off from their prozac then you better have the Medical examiners office stock up on the body bags

I think we would see a major shift in the country........for the good.

I don't believe that most people are stupid; it's just that they don't have time to look beyond what they see in mainstream media, nor do they think they have a need to do so.

Any news outlet that simply reported the pertinent facts of the day, including Fox, would see a massive surge in ratings.

Wouldn't the first outlet to do this have a huge upswing in the ratings and be able to take over. I'm not talking of making stuff up and editing just tell the news and back it up with some facts. Sounds simple to me. :popcorn:

People would begin to realize that things are a lot worse than they think, and heads would likely roll, metaphorically speaking.

Those who check on alternative media sites or even internatinal media (the European networks are very open about the fact that the Eurozone is crashing down in flames) realize this already.
