Bronx, I stipulated all that, other than the obvious facts that Walker won two gubernatorial elections plus a recall election. I thought my post quite clear in those respects.

So, I ask again. What are Walker's other stances? On foreign policy? On social programs? On marriage and abortion? On the preparedness, equipping and use of the military? I'm not suggesting Walker is problematic or ignorant in those areas. Walker may, in fact be excellent in some or all of those areas.

I. Just. Want. To. Know.

"I am not Obama," may have worked somewhat in the 2010 and 2014 mid-term elections, but it did not in 2012. It will work even less well in 2016, since BHO will not be running for President. The Rs will have to stand FOR something in 2016.

Here ya go. All you need to know about Scott Walker.

He's a little more.

Scott Walker's Foreign Policy: Reagan, Reagan, and More Reagan

http://www.slate.com/blogs/weigel/2014/03/24/scott_walker_s_foreign_policy_reagan_reagan_and_more_reagan.html

Thank you again. I was going to say that that first site has a lot (and I bookmarked it for future reference on other R candidates), but that foreign policy was, "Not yet." Which I'm OK with right now, since primaries are over a year away. That second link - despite the rather jaundiced perspective of the author - gives a reasonable idea to me of where Walker is thinking. That he both recognizes BHO's fecklessness, the consequences thereof, and the kinds of thing necessary to put things aright looks good. Walker is a state governor, but he's also thinking beyond that box and ahead.

From the perspective of late November, 2014, Scott Walker looks pretty good.

At a minimum as a viable VP candidate ...

Somebody should make a poll.

So far, all the serious names I've heard so far, are; Walker, Cruz, Rand Paul, Jindal, Perry, Pence, Christie, Carson, Kasich, Jeb Bush, Martinez.
I have a real problem with Ted Cruz! He was born in Canada and their may be a real eligibility issue. After all the noise about Obama this could be a real problem. If Conservatives are going to be consistent then Cruz is not Qualified. I like him, what he stands for and he would probably make a good conservative president but the left would have a field day since he is not a naturalized citizen as required by the constitution.

Cruz already made his case as well as a dozen other Constitutional scholars, including Levin.
It's clear he's eligible.

It's 2014.

Let Walker stay Walker for the moment.  We know he's a good choice.

Oh, for Heaven's sake. Take a pill.

We have today a man who was very likely born on foreign soil to an African father serving in the White House. At least Ted Cruz was born on the North American continent.
