If you pick up a woman in a bar wouldn't you think she's atleast 21yo? I would think if someone is carrying a firearm they are atleast 18yo. If the kid carrying and AR and didn't point it at them he was assaulted and shooting was self defense.

Go out with someone who owns one and is proficient, then challenge them to a target match at 50 feet, they'll blow you out of the water.
The point is to stop your assailant at close range without having to aim, that is what a shotgun can accomplish.

I never aim anymore, I can fire from the hip at 100' center mass 9 out of 10 times. Practice makes perfect.
