Just had to take a look at a website I useto visit... it looked good for awhile, but has been decending into an aimless morass of indecision, finger pointing and just flat-lining... IMO.
A bit of comparison, Liberals become Socialists who become Communists who become either cannon fodder or Tyrants.
Conservatives become RINOs, who become useless, pension collecting altar boys for Liberalism. (like that Quiller?)
If you were asked to name 3 Constitutional Conservatives, leading this country back to the founding fathers' vision - without apology, and unwavering... who would they be?
Mark Levin, Mike Lee and Ted Cruz top my list.
Name a 3 more... up & coming Conservatives DON'T COUNT - they haven't been tested, they haven't the track record of L-E-A-D-E-R-S-H-I-P.
If I was a senator, or representative, it's hardly "leadership" to go along and "vote". Liberals do that, just as well - sort of like falling-into-line down the "Road To Serfdom" - the erosion of our liberty.
Look at this latest Obamacare repeal nonsense. We can't just repeal it...?!?!? No.. we need to leave the foundation of "entitlements" it in place, so when the Democrats resume contol they can cement it forever into the US economy - like Social Security. They bitch and squeal about any changes, just repeal it. Quit the double-talk, and do it... show a little backbone, some leadership, please!
The Democrat road map ends with Communist Tyranny. We *know* where they want to take us, after they've taken away our defenses, property and devalued the money. They want us 100% dependent on the centralized DC government.... we *know* that, right?
Hearing Chuck Shumer get irrational on the radio - isn't costing him any support, he might be gaining support - because he's proving he's a fighter, the liberal champion.
Where's our Senator, going toe-to-toe with the Liberal champion, answering charge with at least equal vigor & passion, "Chuck, people are ALREADY dying because they can't afford your lousy Obamacare! If it's so good, why did YOU exempt yourself from it?" Paint them as the elitist snobs they are, and keep painting them as the filthy rich who don't give a damn about America - drunk with power and trying to grab more. Where is the Conservative cry that government run healthcare is not constitutional? -crickets-
I for one... and really TIRED of hearing commercials, and seeing my Email in-box flooded with appeals for money - knowning it's probably about another "yesman" (a staffer penned the appeal), begging to fund their effort to 'get to DC' ... etc., etc. A couple of times, I've said outloud, ".. you must think I'm stupid.." before I hit the delete button.

A leader makes a voice for themselves. They are not afraid to make a mistake, but run on Constitutional principles - not try to reinvent or reinterpret the Constitution. I doubt many of these "elected conservatives" have ever read it.
Perhaps the real question is becoming WHERE are the conservatives?
In the Senate we have; Cruz, Lee, Sassee and Paul. So out of 100 senators 4 are true conservatives or perhaps a better term would be constitutional conservatives.
In the House, we have; Jordan, Massie, Amash, Meadows, Gohmert, Palmer (maybe a few others), so out of 435 representatives we have roughly 6 true conservatives.
Out of 535 members of Congress we have 10 elected officials that are worth a damn ... I'll add in a few for the benefit of not being familiar with a few. Let's call it an even dozen!
As for the media ... we have Beck and Levin.
We have roughly 14 conservatives working for us. 14. Think about it. Where are all the conservatives?

As I've related many times here, the word "conservstive" has lost its meaning.
In my travels around the internet I've met many people who claim to be conservative, yet defend socialist values. Now when someone tells me they're a conservative, I think, conservative what? As often they men they're conservative socialist or conservative marxist.
I know, it seems like a contradiction, but I've alway thought of it as more of tactical play than taking them literally.

Constitutional Conservative Leadership is -thin- compared to Democrats.
